                                    Illumination Systems
The heart of our independent illuminators is a 150 or 30 Watt variable intensity halogen light source.  Three different light guides are available to attach to this source: a flexible single gooseneck, a bifurcated or dual gooseneck and a ring light.  The 30 Watt source will function only with a single gooseneck.
Goosenecks direct light to any angle or position and once positioned, remain in place
Focusing Lens is available for attaching to the end of the gooseneck to increase intensity and improve spotlighting
The Ring Light attaches to the microscope shroud and moves with the optical body, eliminating the need for adjustment
Polarizer and analyzer are available for the ring light
The 8 Watt fluorescent ring light is a cost effective alternative to the halogen ring light and ensures a sharp image free of shadows.

Micrometers
You can measure dimensions of the sample within the field of view by inserting one of the Jenco micrometers or reticules into the eyepiece.  The reticules are available in multiple configurations to satisfy most needs. Custom reticules are also available on request. Jenco will install the reticle into an eyepiece for a nominal fee.
Use the stage micrometer to calibrate the reticle. It’s 1 mm scale is divided into 100 divisions and may be calibrated and certified as traceable to NIST upon request.  Custom reticules available upon request
